The Tom Richardson Band (TRB) is best labeled “San Joaquin Soul”, deeply rooted in west-coast folk/rock and branching out to Americana, country, and R&B. The repertoire consists of Tom’s catchy, thought-provoking original tunes and selections from well-known artists like Jackson Browne, Richard Thompson and The Rolling Stones.
The band plays in two configuations. Electrically, the set up includes a full drum kit, electric and acoustic guitars, and bass, playing upbeat, danceable tunes. The acoustic set up goes with hand drums, acoustic guitars and bass. Either way, a good time is guaranteed, suitable to any venue - club, concert, coffee house, winery, and more.
